SAINT PETERSBURG, RUSSIA – July 16: Police officers lead anti-G8 activists convicted of breaching a protest ban to awaiting prison buses on July 16, 2006 in Saint Petersburg, Russia. President Putin banned all protest across the city during the days of the G8 summit. About 200 protesters were arrested on July 15, 2006. Arrestees complained they were denied food and water and were refused legal representation in court.
