Former Hillingdon Conservative councillor and Deputy Mayor Richard Barnes, who was joined by Labour MP for Hayes and Harlington John McDonnell, said: “This is our home, this is where we live and we will defend it.”
In 2014 Richard Barnes defected and joined the UK Independence Party (UKIP).
