Campaigners Hold Abuse Victim Photos as Pope Arrives

Campaigners hold up photos of Catholic church child abuse victims as Pope Benedict XVI Ratzinger arrives at Westminster Abbey on the first day of his state visit, London, UK. 17/09/2010.

Barbara Blaine from Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests (SNAP) said she hoped the Pope would take action to protect children, by revealing the peadophile priest’s names and handing them over to the police, but so far he had only offered “lofty words”.
