At midnight on Sunday the 13th of September 2015, Hungary initiated state of emergency laws and closed the border with Serbia.
In the week that followed more than 60,000 refugees crossed into Croatia, as people fleeing from Syria, Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Afghanistan and Pakistan attempted to make it to Austria, hoping for the chance of a better life in Europe.
Closed Borders follows the route that thousands of refugees made from the Hungarian borders, across Serbia and into Croatia, a journey that has been described as a mass exodus not seen since World War II.
