Protestors gathered outside the London Stock Exchange (LSE) building to demand British mining company Global Coal Management Sources (GCM) be investigated and de-listed, London, UK. 23/08/2019.
Academic and activist Rumana Hashem explained in 2006 three people were killed and 200 injured when police opened fire on an 80,000 strong peaceful protest against a proposed GCM mine in Phulbari, Bangladesh.
Hashem added GCM were selling shares on the UK stock exchange without any viable project or permission to mine in Phulbari.
