Istanbul Unrest

During the recent weeks of unrest in Turkey, the Gazi district of Istanbul saw scenes of particularly violent street battles, as police used maximum force to quell any anti-government mobilisations.
The unrest in Turkey has so far left four people dead and more than 5000 injured. It was also reported six police officers committed suicide. The government assured the public these deaths were not related to the nationwide protests.
